Siena, with the “Contrade”, Piazza del Campo, its churches and historical buildings, is just 20 km from BORGO CASATO. The 2nd of July and the 16th of August, every year, in Piazza del Campo, there is the famous and historical horse racing, “Il Palio”.

At 50/60 km from here then, you can reach other important towns, that make Tuscany so famous, like Firenze, Arezzo, San Gimignano, Volterra, Montalcinoand its Brunello, Pienza and Montepulciano.
In more or less an hour, you can also reach the Mar Tirreno seaside.
